DIWALI OUTFIT

Hi guys :) So let me introduce myself first, my name is Nitu Tamang from Darjeeling and I am currently working in Bangalore. I have been here for nearly 2 years now and I am loving here, this place has grown to me like my hometown. But the thing I miss being in my hometown will be the festive season which is the time for family reunions, becoming rich, having delicious food and sharing lots and lots and lots of love. This year (2019) was my second time celebrating diwali in b'lore and it was absolute bliss though it was in my workplace. Diwali is the festival of lights and also an excuse to wear pretty clothes. Traditionally different regions of India has diverse ways of celebrating diwali in their own unique ways. Fire crackers are burnt to welcome the goddess (Laxmi/Kali). This is the time where people like to flaunt their diwali outfits and they don't shy away from flaunting it. Likewise I did the same. On sunday (27/10/2019) we were supposed to wear ethnic attire and I did not have any ethnic clothes. Hence on Saturday evening I went to the phoenix mall, whitefield and did a little shopping there. You will get to see me wearing earings which is very rare as I don't have the habit of wearing it. I knew what color I wanted to go with so I chose Yellow as it represents sun and white as warmth, light and happiness and I also wanted to go with the vibe "Simple yet profound". For duppatta I matched it with my pants. Hope you guys enjoyed reading the blog. I will be posting more content here hence stay tuned.
